Bandar Lampung (LV) – Governor Arinal Djunaidi together with Chairman of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Lampung Province Riana Sari Arinal welcomed the arrival of the General Chair of PMI, HM Jusuf Kalla, at Mahan Agung, Sunday (02/07/2023).
The arrival of the former vice president along with PMI Central Management and Provincial PMI Chairs throughout Indonesia to attend the Gala Dinner for the National Red Cross Youth IX and the 2023 PMI Mukernas.
Starting his remarks, Governor Arinal welcomed all the participants and PMI central management who attended this dinner. The Governor also expressed his gratitude for choosing Lampung as the venue for the 2023 PMI Mukernas.
“Hopefully our meeting tonight can strengthen the ties of friendship between us. Apart from that, I would also like to thank Lampung for choosing Lampung as the venue for the Mukernas, this is an honor for Lampung Province,” said the Governor.
The Governor revealed that he had directly seen the performance and alertness of the Indonesian Red Cross in the field which was completely for humanity, sincere and selfless and regardless of background and class.
“It is truly an honor for me to be among great people who are always engaged in the humanitarian field for others,” said the governor.
“I hope that every step of the Indonesian Red Cross will always be facilitated in doing good things, not only that I am sure that together we can continue to maintain a sense of mutual help and synergy,” continued the Governor.
Through this memorable moment, the Governor also invited all participants to be able to come back to Lampung Province to enjoy Lampung tourism with its natural wealth, culture and customs.
Meanwhile, PMI Chairperson HM Jusuf Kalla took the opportunity to thank the Governor of Lampung for all the support and assistance that has been given to PMI.
